Hope Cove House offers freshly prepared seasonal food, seafood, wine and local beers in an informal coastal setting. Check its current service days and book ahead before visiting.

Hope Cove General Store

The village shop is handy for drinks, ice creams and picnic supplies, as well as takeaway pastries, pasties and sausage rolls.

Opening hours and menus can change, particularly during major events. Check directly with each business before making plans.

Getting to Hope Cove Weekend

Hope Cove is a small coastal village, and roads and parking areas will be extremely busy.

Additional event parking is normally provided in a field off the Outer Hope bypass. Visitors should only use designated parking areas and must keep roads clear for emergency vehicles.

Road closures and access restrictions are expected during the event. Once closures are in place, vehicles will not be able to travel through Hope Cove Square.

Our advice is to:

  • Arrive early
  • Use designated event parking
  • Wear comfortable footwear
  • Carry layers and waterproof clothing
  • Bring sun protection and drinking water
  • Check sea and weather conditions
  • Bring a towel or exercise mat for yoga or Pilates
  • Carry some cash in case individual stalls cannot accept cards
  • Supervise children carefully around the water
  • Follow instructions from event marshals and water-safety teams

Reusable Hope Cove Weekend drinking cups are expected to be available from participating hospitality venues. They help reduce single-use plastic and also make a useful souvenir.

Make a South Devon break of it

With four days of activities, Hope Cove Weekend is a brilliant reason to plan a late-summer staycation.

Staying at Karrageen puts you approximately one mile from Hope Cove Beach, with easy access to the village and wonderful South Devon scenery. After a busy day of music, food and beach activities, you can return to the park, relax and enjoy the sea views.

Our on-site shop also stocks local products and everyday essentials, making it easy to pick up supplies without another trip into town.
