Introduction

Karrageen is a small, friendly, family run site and one of the closest sites to a sandy beach in the South Hams. The park is situated in Bolberry, a pretty hamlet, one mile from Hope Cove. The Park overlooks a valley populated with pheasants, rabbits, foxes, badgers and patrolled by a pair of breeding buzzards. To the west, we have sea views over Bigbury Bay to Plymouth Sound and beyond to the start of the Cornish coastline. The sunsets over the bay and headland can be very spectacular.
